## How to Change Your Email Address

Note that changing your account's email address will retain all of your plan data and settings, but chat conversations you've had with YNAB support will **not** be carried over.

### iOS

2. Tap the three dots icon at the top of the screen.

### If You've Forgotten Your Current Password

1. Most likely, if you need to change your password, it's because you can't remember the current one—which is required if you're trying to change your password while you're still logged in. If that's the case, you need to log out first:

2. Once you've logged out, tap _Forgot Password?_ on the login screen.

3. We'll send you a password reset email—follow the instructions there and you'll be back to planning in no time!

4. When you open the password reset email on your mobile device, certain mail apps (Gmail and third-party apps in particular) aren't able to bring you back to the app to enter a new password. If you're able to use the default mail app or a browser instead, you'll be brought to the right place!
