## What Can I Customize?

Let's review the different customizations you can make.

* **Rename the account**In the first field, you can change the **Account Nickname** (or rename the account). If it's a credit card account, this will also change the name of the corresponding Credit Card Payment category showing on your _Plan_ tab page.

* **Add account notes**There is an option below the Account Nickname to add **Account Notes**. You might jot down the interest rate or the annual renewal date. Don't use it for account numbers or login information, though. Check out our [article on adding notes](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/how-to-add-notes-Byytt_YC9) for more details!

* **Add a Manual Balance Adjustment**To make a [balance adjustment](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/balance-adjustments-a-guide-rko4OwILs#why), you can update the **Working Balance** field.

* **Link or unlink the account from Direct Import**Depending on the current state of the account (linked or unlinked), you'll have a button to either _Link Account_ or _Unlink Account_—unless it's a cash account, in which case you won't have **either** option.

* **Close or delete the account**Finally, you'll find the option to either _Close Account_ or _Delete Account_ in the bottom left corner of the window. Check out our [article on closing or deleting accounts](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/how-to-close-or-delete-an-account-in-ynab-ry_409Gko) for more specifics on the difference between these two actions.
