## Preset Views

### iOS

There are four preset views **on iOS**:

* The **Underfunded view** shows you the categories that need more money. This includes categories where you haven’t assigned enough for a target or scheduled transaction, underfunded credit card payment categories, and categories that are overspent. Check out our [Underfunded guide](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/underfunded-a-guide-BJwPhQO09#explained) for more information.

* The **Overfunded view** shows you the categories where you have more assigned than you need to keep your target on track.

* The **Snoozed View** shows you categories that are snoozed in the current month.

* The **Money Available view** shows you the categories that have money Available.

#### What About the Overspent View on the Web App?

On iOS, a banner displaying "\[#\] overspent categories" appears at the top of the _Home_ and _Plan_ tabs whenever one or more categories are overspent. This alert takes the place of the default Overspent view in the web app.

### Android

There are four preset views **on Android**:

On Android, a banner displaying "\[#\] overspent categories" appears at the top of the _Home_ and _Plan_ tabs whenever one or more categories are overspent. This alert takes the place of the default Overspent view in the web app.

### Web

There are five preset views **on the web app**:

* The **Underfunded view** shows you the categories that need more money. This includes categories where you haven’t assigned enough for a target or scheduled transaction, underfunded credit card payment categories, and categories that are overspent. Check out our [Underfunded guide](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/underfunded-a-guide-BJwPhQO09#explained) for more information.

* The **Overfunded view** shows you the categories where you have more assigned than you need to keep your target on track. This often applies to categories with multi-month targets. Any leftover funds from the previous period will rollover with a new month and increase Available. However, the target will still prompt you to assign the full target amount.

* The **Snoozed View** shows you categories that are snoozed in the current month.

* The **Overspent view (web only)** shows you all your categories with overspending. This view is only available if at least one of your categories is overspent.

* The **Money Available view** shows you the categories that have money Available.

#### Various Colors for the Overspent View Button

The Overspent view button color matches what type of overspending you have. If you only have credit overspending, the button will be yellow. If you have at least one category overspent with cash, the button will be red.

## Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

### Are hidden categories included in views?

Nope! If you hide a category, it won’t show up in any of your views.

### Is there a way to select an entire category group when creating a custom view in the web app?

Yes! If you select the category group while viewing all of your categories, and then click the _New View_ button, the entire group will be selected.

### How do I de-select a view?

You can de-select a view by clicking or tapping _View All_ (web) or _View All_ or _View All Categories_ (mobile) at the bottom of your categories. You can also click or tap the _All_ button in the list of views to be brought back to all of your categories. On the web app, clicking on the selected view again will also de-select it.

### Can my partner and I have different default views?

Views are specific to the plan, so you and your partner (or whoever you’re planning with!) will have all of the same views in the same order.

Which view is **selected** is device and browser-specific, though! You and your partner can select different views on your own devices, and as long as you don’t clear your browser’s local storage, change browsers, or force quit the mobile app, the view will remain selected.

### Is there a limit to how many views I can create?

You can create up to 12 custom views.

### Can I delete or hide the preset views?

You can’t edit or delete preset views, because they’re based on the funding state of your categories. You can follow the steps in the [How to Reorder Your Views](#how-reorder) section above so they’re not front and center, though!

### Can I add new categories while in a Focused View?

No, new categories cannot be added while in a Focused View.

### Why are my Underfunded and Overfunded views empty?

The [Underfunded and Overfunded views](#preset) are based on the targets you’ve set for your categories. The Overfunded view will be empty if you don't have any targets. The Underfunded view also shows [scheduled transactions](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/editing-and-deleting-scheduled-transactions-a-guide-Skru9yNJo) and overspending. Check out our [article on targets](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/getting-started-with-targets-ryAEP08xC) to learn more!
