As you're adding the transaction into YNAB, they ask about the app. It's the moment you've been waiting for, and you're here for it! In the past, you may have hesitated because you like to keep some of your numbers private; no need to share the amount you spend on rent, streaming services, terrariums, plants for your terrariums, speakers to play music for the plants in your terrariums...(it sounds like terrariums have a special place in your heart, and **we're** here for **that**!). With Hide Amounts, you can share YNAB without sharing your finances. Hide Amounts allows you to: * Share your plan with others **without** displaying any of the numbers in your columns. * [Reflect on and share your past data](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/reflect-in-ynab-B1GJsrWkj) **without** displaying numbers. * Quickly and easily **invite a friend to sign up** for YNAB with a single tap from the _Plan_ tab. When Hide Amounts is enabled: * Some actions may be unavailable. For example, clicking the name of your plan on the web app while Hide Amounts is enabled presents you with a more limited menu of choices. [Disable Hide Amounts to restore all actions.](#how-disable) * On Android, you'll only have access to the _Plan_, _Reflect_, and _Help_ tabs. All tabs are accessible on iOS and web. * Wherever financial information is usually displayed in the app, the amounts will all be replaced with six dots. By displaying six dots no matter the amount, no one will be able to compare the relative amounts in one category over another. * Amounts are not editable on iOS and Android. On the web app, editing is enabled but changes will not be saved. (We wouldn’t want you to accidentally change an amount without realizing it.) [Disable Hide Amounts to edit your plan](#how-disable). * The _Reflect_ tab will still provide detailed information (just not numbers).  * Age of Money is still available; on iOS and Android, the number of days will always be replaced with two dots. Tap the horizontal three dots icon at the top of the screen. 3. Tap _Hide Amounts_. On Android, Hide Amounts is disabled in the _Account_ and _Spending_ tabs. When you're ready to access them again, [disable Hide Amounts](#how-disable).  ### Why can't I edit anything while in Hide Amounts? We wouldn't want you to accidentally edit something you can't see. When you're ready to edit your plan, [disable Hide Amounts](#how-disable). ### Why can't I share my referral link?
