Spending Trends makes those decisions **visible** so you can choose which to keep making and which to change.  #### Reflect on Spending Categories You can also reflect on a [breakdown of your spending](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/spending-breakdown-H1H7YxmD0), sorted by categories. #### In This Article [Spending Trends Basics](#basics) [Spending Trends](#totals) * * * ## Spending Trends Basics **Where do I find Spending Trends?**  Spending Trends is found in the web app by clicking _Reflect_ in the left sidebar. From there, you'll notice a graph and a right sidebar.  **What's included in Spending Trends?**  Spending Trends shows spending in your Cash and Credit accounts, from the biggest of big picture down to individual categories, and even individual transactions. As Spending Trends is based on categories, the only **tracking** account activity included is transfers from Cash and Credit accounts to Tracking accounts. If you'd rather not have these transfers included, you can uncheck the categories that are dedicated to tracking account transfers, and you'll see your spending without transfers included. To do this, click on the category dropdown menu at the top left of the screen. [Back to Top](#backtotop) * * * ## Spending Trends You can review how your spending has changed over time with bar graphs. Each section represents a Category Group in your YNAB setup. Click on one to drill down into just that group. Then click a specific category to review the list of transactions. The sidebar on the right in Spending Trends will update as you drill down into each level, showing you the totals for all visible sections of the graph. If you're more the spreadsheet type, you can [export Spending Trends](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/how-to-export-reflection-data-Bykou09). The export includes transactions for the categories and are exported as two separate files.  ### **How to Review Spending by Payee** While you can't drill down by payee in Spending Trends, you can get a total of spending for any payee in the **All Accounts** register with these steps: 1. Click on the _All Accounts_ tab in the left sidebar. 2. Type the payee in the search box in the top right corner. 3. Check the select-all checkbox in the header row of the register to select all the transactions. 4. You'll now notice a **Selected Total** in the upper right corner for all transactions associated with this payee. If you're interested in total **inflows** **by payee**, switch over to [Income v Expense](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/income-v-expense-Byu1BYWRq).
