## The Web App

The YNAB web app is a web browser-based application that can be accessed directly [through our website](https://app.ynab.com/users/sign_in). There is not a downloadable version of the app on laptop or desktop computer. 

Chrome and Safari users: you can install the page as an app to create a shortcut that makes it feel more like a standalone application on your computer using the following steps:

**To install the YNAB web app in Chrome on a computer:**

1.  On your computer, open Chrome.
    
2.  Go to [https://app.ynab.com/](https://app.ynab.com/).
    
3.  Click the _More_ button (three dots icon) at the top right of your Chrome browser.
    
4.  Click _Cast, Save, and Share_. 
    
5.  Select _Install Page as App_... 
    
6.  Give the app a name and click _Install_.
    

**To install the YNAB web app in Safari on a computer:**

1.  Click the Share button in Safari's toolbar.
    
2.  Click _Add to Dock_.
    
3.  Give the app a name and click _Add_.

## The iOS App

The YNAB mobile app can be downloaded via iOS device in the Apple App Store. 

YNAB works best on the latest version of iOS. We support app versions released within the past two to three years. If your version of iOS is older than that, you'll be asked to update when you try to open the app. If your device won't support the update, you can still log into YNAB on a computer [through our website](https://app.ynab.com/users/sign_in). 

**Optional iOS Beta:** If you use YNAB on your mobile device, we have a beta app that gives you access to our mobile releases early—and you can share your feedback without leaving the app! You can join [our beta program on iOS here](https://testflight.apple.com/join/8VUnGDPo).

## The Android App

The YNAB mobile app can be downloaded via Android in the Google Play Store.   
  
YNAB works best on the latest version of Android. We support app versions released within the past two to three years. If your version of Android is older than that, you'll be asked to update when you try to open the app. If your device won't support the update, you can still log into YNAB on a computer [through our website](https://app.ynab.com/users/sign_in). 

You'll receive YNAB updates if your device is running Android version 11 or newer. Devices running Android 10 or earlier will not receive updates or new features.

**Optional Android beta:** If you use YNAB on your mobile device, we have a beta program that gives you access to our mobile releases early—and you can share your feedback without leaving the app! You can join [our beta program on Android here](https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.youneedabudget.evergreen.app). Once you do that, you’ll get beta versions of the app through the regular Play Store update process.

## Submitting Beta Feedback

If you have feedback about the beta app, you can provide that from directly within the mobile apps, or via email on the web app.

### iOS

1.   From the TestFlight app, tap the YNAB Release Candidate OR YNAB Labs.
    
2.   Tap _Send Feedback_.
    
3.   Choose either with or without a screenshot.
    
4.   Record feedback and tap _Submit_.
    

### Android

1.  Open the Play Store.
    
2.  At the top right, tap the profile icon.
    
3.  Tap _Manage apps and devices >_ then tap the _Manage_ tab.
    
4.  Find YNAB.
    
5.  Tap the app to open its details page.
    
6.  Under 'Private feedback to developer', tap _Write feedback_.
    
7.  Tap the stars to rate the app and use the box to describe your experience for the developer.
    
8.  To submit feedback, both a rating and a written response are required.
    
9.  Tap _Post_.
