[Back to Top](#backtotop) * * * ## Recent Updates * **Approve Transactions with Card Mode on iOS** (September 16, 2026) When [approving transactions](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/approving-and-matching-transactions-a-guide-ByYNZaQ1i#approving) in Card Mode, each one is presented as a condensed, card version. You can swipe right to immediately approve, swipe left to skip it, or select from a variety of editing options. If you’re a fan of the old approval process (now called List Mode), it’s still available for use. * **The Plan Reset on iOS** (September 16, 2026) [The Plan Reset](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/plan-resets-and-fresh-starts-HkXYR_c0q#plan-reset) is a built-in feature on iOS to help you rethink what your money is for. It pulls every available dollar back to Ready to Assign and asks to to assign the money again, according to your current priorities. * **Matched Search Filter on Mobile** (September 16, 2026) Want to review your matched transactions on mobile? Tap the Spending tab and use the new Matched filter to do so. * **The YNAB Shop** (September 15, 2026) Want to enjoy a warm beverage in a YNAB mug while assigning your next paycheck? The [YNAB Shop](https://shop.ynab.com/) is open; take a look! * **Try out File-Based Import** (August 12, 2026) We’ve made the process of [File-Based Import](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/file-based-import-a-guide-Bkj4Sszyo) easier, and CSV files are now the preferred file format. Give it a try! * **Celebrate an occasion by gifting YNAB** (August 6, 2026) Celebrate an occasion by [gifting YNAB](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/gift-ynab-rJnOtBxRq) with our newly themed gift subscriptions! Congratulate a recent grad, give YNAB as a birthday gift, or express your love. * **Refer friends with a QR code on Android** (July 22, 2026) Sharing YNAB just got easier! When you refer a friend from the _Share & Earn_ menu on Android, you can now display a QR code for them to scan, right alongside the _Copy Link_ option. You’ll notice visual enhancements as well. * **On iOS or Android? Want to share YNAB and earn free months?** (July 8, 2026) We’ve made it easier to do just that! Tap the gift icon at the top of the Home tab. * **Hide Amounts on the Web App** (June 10, 2026) Share examples of your plan without revealing your financial information with others, and quickly invite or refer a friend, family member, or colleague to sign up for YNAB! Or, use this feature to post images of your YNAB setup to social media and skip that time-consuming step of blurring out your numbers...we've got you. You’ll notice visual enhancements as well. * **Approve transfers just once** (April 29, 2026) No more approving both sides of a transfer! When you approve one side of a matched transfer, we'll automatically approve the counterpart — even if it's uncleared, scheduled manually, or imported. * **Add photos to your transactions** (April 20, 2026) Perfect meal at a perfect restaurant? Now you can lock in that memory when you add the transaction to YNAB by adding a photo! You can now [share Net Worth using the web app](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/net-worth-BkwQO5WA5#share). We provide four visual formats to choose from, and you can even hide your amounts if you'd like to keep your actual numbers private! * **Additional search features on Android** (February 18, 2026) When you search transactions in the Spending tab or an Account register, you'll find exactly what you need. Tap the magnifying glass and begin typing; we'll offer some suggested searches to get you started. You can filter by specific criteria, look for exact matches, or simply type a word or phrase to pull up every item that contains it. * **Reflect on your spending and income on iOS and Android** (February 18, 2026) The Reflect tab now includes [Income vs. Spending](https://support.ynab.com/en_us/income-v-expense-Byu1BYWRq), allowing you to quickly tell whether you're spending more or less than you make. * **Improved search in the account register on iOS** (January 14, 2026) Remember the improved search that came to the Spending tab a few months ago?
